About Me

I have loved to read as long as I can remember, but I first truly enjoyed writing in second grade. I had a wonderful teacher who gave me a lot of encouragement and let me write to my heart's content. Since then, I've really never stopped. Throughout middle and high school, I enjoyed doing creative writing, both for class and in my free time. During those years, I dabbled in poetry and even attempted to write a book. In college, I double majored in American Sign Language and elementary education, so the amount of time I could devote to writing was limited. I graduated in the fall of 2012 and currently work as a sign language interpreter at a middle school. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, being involved at my church, and of course, writing.

I love Jesus with all my heart, and all of my writing reflects that. Some works do so more overtly than others, but I always  write clean poems and prose that do not go against my beliefs. It is my hope that everyone who reads my works finds them either thought-provoking or uplifting.  Or possibly both.
